495 Express Lanes closure and detour week of February 15

The express version

  • The exit ramp to I-66 westbound from the southbound 495 Express Lanes will be closed
  • There will be a detour in place for drivers attempting to access I-66 westbound

Closures on the southbound 495 Express Lanes

Starting Tuesday, February 16, the I-66 westbound exit ramp from the southbound 495 Express Lanes will be closed. Drivers attempting to access I-66 westbound will be able to exit at Gallows Rd. and will be detoured onto I-66 westbound. Weather permitting the closures will take place at the following times:

  • Tuesday, February 16: 10 p.m.-5 a.m.
  • Wednesday, February 17: 10 p.m.-5 a.m.
  • Thursday, February 18: 10 p.m.-5 a.m.
