Southern stretch of 95 Express Lanes will close during overnight periods in March

The 95 Express Lanes will experience weeknight nightly closures from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. from near Joplin Road to the terminus near Route 17 beginning March 13, 2024 and concluding March 30, 2024 at the latest. 

During the closure:

• At or about 10 p.m., southbound traffic will be diverted off the Express Lanes to the Joplin Road exit (150a); the diversion will remain in place until the Lanes close for reversal around 1 a.m. 
• Around 3 a.m., following the reversal, northbound traffic will be able to enter the Express Lanes north of Joplin Road.
• At 4 a.m., access points south of Joplin Road will open to northbound traffic.

The closure is facilitating the removal of temporary concrete barriers along the Fredericksburg Extension, replacing them with permanent guardrails.
