We're making it easier for you to go to and from southern and central Prince William County via the 95 Express Lanes.
Late-night on November 14, a reversible, south-facing ramp will open, connecting the Lanes to Opitz Boulevard in Woodbridge near Potomac Mills.
The expanded bridge also includes sidewalk facilities to improve accessibility and options for walkers and bikers.
The ramp will be reversible. Customers traveling on the northbound 95 Express Lanes can exit left to ride the ramp directly up to Opitz Boulevard. When the Lanes are heading south, customers have a new option to get on the southbound Lanes from both east and west on Opitz Boulevard. A new signal in the middle of the bridge will control traffic.
Just like other access points to the Lanes, pricing signs along Opitz Boulevard will show the current cost to destinations.
The existing access to the northbound Lanes from Opitz Boulevard won’t change.
Shopping, dining and entertainment at hotspots like Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center. Top notch jobs at major employers like Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. Stellar neighborhoods, schools and parks, like the Neabsco Creek Boardwalk.
There's a ton of reasons why you might take the new ramp to the greater Woodbridge area. But here's one more: If you register your info on our Customer Rewards page and take a qualifying trip on the new Opitz Boulevard Ramp between November 16 and November 24, you get a chance to win a $1,000 Visa gift card.
Head to our Customer Rewards page and select "Opitz Ramp" from the dropdown menu. Then, fill in your details and hit "Sign me up."
After that, ride the new ramp with your E-ZPass and a $1,000 gift card could be yours. Now that would make for a great start to the holidays.
